Naples Community Orchestra (NCO) has been awarded two grants as well as a corporate sponsorship. First, the Community Foundation of Collier County (CCFC) will provide the NCO board training in two areas; best board practices and strategic planning. Second, a grant from the Martin and Gustel Morton Foundation, New London, NH is intended to support student education. NCO will use the grant to underwrite the appearance of violinist Isabelle Durenberger, a student at the New England Conservatory of Music. Also, PNC Bank has become a corporate sponsor of NCO that will be used to underwrite the Orchestra Concertmaster Chair.
In addition, the Naples Community Orchestra has unveiled its new Family Sponsorship campaign. This program is for donors of $1,000 or more and features some special benefits, including premium seating at all concerts, a pair of complimentary tickets to share with friends, an NCO Family personalized pin, member profiles in season playbills, and invitations to exclusive events, including the Pre-Season Cocktail Party on November 14th.
“We are indebted to our sponsors, donors and customers,” said Anne Wilson, NCO president. “Their generous support recognizes our development as a community orchestra and validates our plans for the 2022 season. Our Family Sponsorship Program introduces a package of donor benefits to recognize and express our appreciation for our donors.”
NCO’s 2021-22 season series is inspired by the community partnerships the orchestra has forged with Artis Naples, Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) and Collier County Public Schools (CCPS). NCO’s partnership with Artis Naples provides musicians for conducting and performing in the orchestra, sectional rehearsals, soloists, and rehearsal and event space.
