NAPLES, Fla. (January 3, 2023) – Naples Community Orchestra will host its 30th season opener on Saturday, January 21, 3:00 p.m. at Moorings Presbyterian Church, 791 Harbour Drive in Naples. The concert will feature the debut of Alvin Ho, the new artistic director at NCO and who also serves as assistant conductor with the Naples Philharmonic. The program will feature music from Mozart. In addition, the orchestra will perform a piece by Ari Fisher reflecting the theme of hope, poignancy and recovery. Fisher has won numerous film scoring competitions and collaborated on a variety of projects ranging from feature-length films to video game soundtracks. He is co-founder, music director, and lead composer of ZREO Studios and ZREO: Second Quest. His concert works have been performed in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Taiwan, and across the United States. His music has been featured across the nation in television ads. The music was commissioned and sponsored by Barbara Lounsbury, a longtime leader within the NCO.
A reception will follow each concert 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at naplescommunityorchestra.org. Individual concert tickets are $40 per ticket and the three concert series subscription is $100. Complimentary tickets are available for students with valid student identification.
